In a loud and busy cafe, I met with performer and writer Rachel Mars to talk about the relationship between her solo shows and her ongoing collaborations with Greg Wohead and nat tarrab. Along the way we talk about how the Fringe festival economy convinces everyone that shows have to be 50 minutes long, and try to work out when and where performance is ‘queer enough’.
